I just bought a reefer 250 and I want some Radion. Since money is tight right now I was thinking 1 used xr30 now and add another one later or should I just get two new xr15? Also is 1 xr30 sufficient for the reefer 250 long term or it should only be temporarily?

Thank you for your help

Welcome to ReefCentral and good luck with new aquarium. For a tank that size, 2 XR15wG3Pro would provide you with more then enough light for most types of coral.

Does this include most SPS and clams? I'm doing the same thing and really want to do Radions, it seems like these lights should work, but I'm always cautious!

Thank you Alex, I ended up buying an XR30W pro G3 and I look forward to start it up after cycling. I also got two mp10wqd and a Vectra m1 so I'm sure we'll chat again.

Until next time

How is this setup working out for you? I have the same tank, same light (with the wide angle lens) and same powerheads.
