So question for you 8' owners (or bigger). I am upgrading very soon and as much as I want a 10' tank, 8' seems to be a sweet spot, especially for my home.
I'm debating between glass vs. acrylic. Someone has an acrylic one that was barely used in a few shows and selling for cheap. A new drilled with overflow Visio 240 will run me $782. Slightly more than the used plastic.
I know the pros and cons of each, but any of you acrylic owners regret or wish you went glass instead?
Any yellowing you're experiencing? I like the acrylic for the asking price, will negotiate, but nothing beats the ease of glass.
Please let me know. Any pics of how your tank looks after years (acrylic people)?
