weird red "pill-like" spots on rocks

In my tank, I have these weird little red spots that look like pills. I know that it isn't red slime, because I have red slime in my tank, and the pills are growing on top of it. Does anyone know what they are?:confused:

Could be bubbles in the algae from photosynthesis, they kinda look like "pills"
