I was going back and forth between a BRS system and the Spectrapure.
I ended up getting the Aquarium starter package
http://spectrapure.com/RO-RODI/RODI-SYSTEMS/Aquarium-RO-DI-Starter%20Kit-Includes-RODI-System-Replacement-Filter%20Kit-TDS%20Meters-Chlorine-Test-Kit

I'm on a well, well pump set for 40-60 pounds, I'm getting 35 pounds on the pressure gauge of the system.

TDS of well water is 157, product water is 0

Looks like I need a booster pump.

The instructions that came with the unit make no reference to adjusting the flow restrictor. I'm curious why no reference to this adjustment?

Please excuse my ignorance, this is my first time working with ro/di systems.

Sorry. Hook it up, run it for awhile and tell us what the waste-to-product ratio is.

Wow, lots of support here

I can tell you, they aren't always on the forum, but send an email or call and they are on top of it.

This reference is no longer in the manual because we preset your flow restrictor. On a well you will not do well with what the flow restrictor is preset at. You will need a booster pump. You might need a degassing column as well. I bet you have high co2. co2 kills di life.
