I found this in my LFS few months ago, buried in one of its tanks, got it for $5, but don't know what it is.

Mark I know this is no help, but it must be some kind of cup coral.

Thanks Barry, yeah I know it is some kind of cup coral, but i can't find anything else on it, it has almost clear tentacles with light green fluorescence to them, that i can't capture on picture.

Wow, looks almost identical, thank you. I wish I knew my coral's origin , would make it easier.

This one came from Naples, Fl.
Bright orange cup coral and clearish orange tentacles.
This was back when I was just starting out and I eventually killed it..

It liked high light and occasional feeding. If sand started to cover it, the tissue would die off.
It eventually lost is color and the tissue receded leaving just the tentacles inside the cups..

I wonder if yours is supposed to be orange and just wasn't getting enough light and will color back up.
