Hi everyone,
I am a newbie. My tank is only 9 weeks old. I started it cycling with 3 chromis. After cycle I added a life rock with some mushrooms. From what I have found on the internet I think they are Ricordia yuma. They have been happy. But, I noticed a spider web like substance on one. Upon googling I couldn't find any thing about it. It looked like a syno bacteria but colorless. So, I shut my lights off for three days and it disappeared. Well, seems to be attacking one of my favorite mushrooms. Anyone know what this is? And, what to do about it? I can't add the pictures. Probably because I just joined.

You can't add pictures because the file is to large. Have to be less than 2mg. Use Microsoft paint to resize by 50% then save it and you'll be able to post them

Oh and this isn't the mushroom forum, its the one above

I had the same problem with my jawbreaker. Had it on half of it for about two days, then I woke up one day and the flesh where the substance was is completely lost... Moved it under a ledge in hopes it will bounce back.
