Weird sponges.

Ok, so I know my flow sucks, I have q tip sponges everywhere, but the most interesting thing for me is this weird Lily looking cluster of white sponges. its a super stiff cluster that is really attached to the rock, It wasn't there one day, woke up the next morning and There it was. WTH. I just want to know if this is going to be a problem or if theyre ok. It looks kinda pretty but i dont want it every where.

There are millions of different kinds of sponge. Some are bad, some aren't. Best if you could post a picture so we can see what you're dealing with.

The Q tip sponges are commonly referred to as pineapple sponges, a beneficial filter feeder.

So it turns out this was not a weird sponge. It was an egg sac from one of my bay snails. I will definitely post a picture once I get one that isn't blurry!
