Anyone know the lens angles on the Mars Aqua/ Reef Breeders lights? Are they 120? I'm looking to maybe fit a couple in to my canopy as supplemental but my halide reflectors are huge so I may have to angle them in sideways, or in other words, with the 8" side facing forward. I'm wondering how much spotlighting I will get if I do that.

I believe ReefBreeders used the standard 90 degree lens and like most leds, they are 120 without a lens.

Mars Aqua have a few different optics on them, most are 60 but some of the colors are not.

I did the math this morning and 15" up at 120 degrees I theoretically get a horizontal spread of 26" in either direction. That is adequate ('theoretically') for the 24" to either side off center in a 75, but for those of you with them, how bad will the spotlighting be? I still want to hit 400+ at the top of my rocks if only for 4-5 hours a day. High noon, if you will.

Recall this is centered between two halides, I don't expect much shadowing at the ends of the tank.
