Hi

I'm about to sell my Kessils, to try something new.
My plan is to go SPS dominated, but still with some LPS around.

I was thinking T5-LED Hybrid, to minimize the shadowing, as I guess I would get with Kessils?

My tank is 35" (90cm) x 23" (60cm) x 17" (45cm) in heigh.

What do you think is the best light? :bounce3:

Why not keep the kessils you already have and add 2 or 4 T5s to them? Save yourself some money vs buying and all in one fixture

+1. This is the way to go. Hybrid T5/LED will give you the best of both worlds.

For SPS dominant, the best light is MH + T5. From my experience with LEDs, MH gives me a lot better coral growth.

Plus the color is more natural looking.

A better choice IMO than LED.

I think the best lights are Kessils. How much do you want for yours?

There is a good reason for that. I can't make anything like that, that the wife will have in our living room :P
She not a big fan of the idea to sell the Kessils, and have a big T5 fixture instead.

I'm pretty sure I will go T5, maybe with LED.
But what are the best fixture, for a tank of my size?

ATI? Giesemann? Pacific Sun?
24W or 39W? 4 or 8 bulbs?

Oh, all those questions :-)
