So my foot+ wide gigantic, which I've had for 2 years now, moved last month to a location on the back side of my rock setup.

I would like to coerce him to move back towards the front of the tank, without pulling apart the rock work.

Any suggestions? I've read about Ice, but is there another way to get him to start moving?

Now you see him

Now you don't

Dedicated powered blowing on its column or foot. Be careful not to mulch the nem.

My MP40 stopped going for a few days and thats when he last decided to move.

Hmm, I'll try that. Just point a power head at it?

hmm.... not sure that would work for a gig.... gigs like flow. lol that reportedly works for bta's, but they are a totally different creature... it was probably looking for flow when it moved, since that's when your powerhead went out....

personally, i would pull the rock, place it where you want it, and point the powerhead at it. it will probably be a happy camper once again....

I would try to leave the Gigantea in a smaller rock structure of his own. Move the rock back to where you want it and frag all the corals on that rock. The initial picture was perfect. I agree that he most likely moved because he was looking for more flow.
