I want to build a sump for a 150 gal tank. I have a 75 that I want to use for the sump and a 55 i'd like to add as a refugium. Does anyone have a layout for a standard 75 gallon tank? I want to have my skimmer and a reactor in the sump.

Designs vary by the # of baffles used.
I have only 1 which makes mine a 2 section sump, most are 3, a few more.
Dimensions of the things going into the sump play a large part on its layout.
I wanted a LARGE section for the return so there was plenty of water to draw from.
My skimmer is there also. My previous sump had a small return pump section & I had to constantly monitor it or it would run dry. Use 1/4" glass cut 1/16" short on the width for baffles @ the height you want, somewhere around 1/2 the tank height to allow for drain down on a shut down. If you search for Elos, Lifereef, Trigger MELEV's Reef they should all have pictures to look at with explanations.
