Looking at a rimless 30x30 16" deep. What are thoughts as a seahorse tank. Do you think it is deep enough

more importantly, the volume of that tank if i calculated correctly is 4400 cubic inches. a gallon of water occupies 231 cubic inches. that tank would only be 20 gallons. not adequate for horsies.

I calculated at 65 gallons with online calculator for tank volume

my bad

30 * 30 * 16 * .00433 =
62.352

you should be fine with this, but taller would be better. horses use the vertical axis for mating. my 45 bowfront is about that tall, but i'd prefer having a taller tank. my problem is i'm built into a wall.
sorry about the arithmetic

I've had seahorses breed in one of my 40g breeders which definitely are not 16" tall. The actual water depth is just under 14". Where there is a will there is a way.
