Yes, the US models are 110V 60Hz. The European models are 230V 50Hz. The Hz will be the most critical factor, so if you have 230V 60Hz you will need the 115V 60Hz models and a step up transformer or you will want the Electronic models which are not affected as much by Hz. The Electronic models will run regardless of Hz but on a 60Hz pattern will have slightly more output.

Hi! Roger

Thanks for your reply. My country electricity is 240 volts. So I need to buy a transformer to step down to 110 volts to use the US models. What do you mean by electronic model? How much does it cost compared to the other model?

Thanks
khoo

What Hz is Malaysia? IF you have 60hz you need to use the 115V US product with a tranformer. If you have 50hz you need to use 230V 50Hz European product.
