I'm curious if BRS is planning on carrying the updated MQ-500 Quantum Sensor/PAR Meter from Apogee. At least in theory, the new sensor head has a more accurate response in the sub 420nm spectrum.

We haven't made any decisions yet, but we are currently looking into it :)

Do you use Sun or Electric mode on the 200 to test led lights? Thanks

Electric. The Apogee MQ devices are awesome. I measured PAR at the LFS and in my tank. Allows me to place the SPS coral in the same light PAR as where it sat in the LFS display.

Thanks, I need to tune my 3 Radions and decide if I want to add t5 supplement on my 180.

We use the electric setting on the Apogee. All of our individual light tests in our light testing lab are done with a LiCor meter however.

Thanks, our club has an Apogee and I am just trying to get a close baseline. Need to do a little tuning. I know that the LiCor is a lot better meter but beggars cant be choosy.

Very cool, I borrow the Apogee from work all the time for my tank at home :P
