So I am getting 8 bimacs and 2 IO Lyretails in tomorrow, thru a shipment (probably Los Angeles to San Diego) and not sure what steps I need to take, seeing how I usually never have fish shipped in.
I wont be getting them until 6-630 PM tomorrow, so who knows how long they'll be sitting in bags...
I am gonna formalin dip them, but this is where I want some clarification...
-I am planning on doing all 10 anthias in one bin with formalin, maybe two gallons of water total
-Do I simply match the SG, and temp acclimate them for 20-30 mins, and put all the anthias in the one bin with formalin?
-OR do I have to do them individually/a couple at a time? Which would take way too long?
-then after this, all ten are going into bin 1 for TTM.
I guess my issue is what do I do with them since I've never had to pick up this many anthias and dip so many at one time, plus the fact they're being shipped overnight.
I was REALLY hoping to just dump all the anthias in a bin, using their shipping water, and then adding formalin to that. Anyone see anything wrong with this?
