Has anyone tried running the light with the lens removed from the white LEDS only???? I was wondering if it would spread the white out better and cause them to blue up a bit. To me the white on these is really white even if I turn it way down and blue turned up which is how I run it anyway. Anyone see anything wrong with removing the lens on the white LEDs? I assume I would need to turn that channel up more once I removed it. Let me know

Hi,

What are you running the violets and cool blues at right now? Those also contribute a lot to the blue color- the royal blues and whites are pretty even- it takes the violets and cool blues to blue the light up a bit more.

I do not have the V2 so I only have 2 channels. at peak I run the blues (channel one) around 55% and whites (channel 2) around 10.

Also would like feedback from anyone who has removed the lenses. What effect did it have on the light as far as color?

Also had an idea of removing only the optics from the inner LEDs and leave the 90 degree on the outer ones??? thinking that would disperse the light some and make it not so strong directly under it.

I removed all my optics for better spread, you also get much better color blending
