I have a few, slowly capturing and moving to the ocean... but curious as when i watch they just eat the algae (much quicker than the hermits mind)...

Curious if reef safe, so far no fish loss... since set up....

Some type of swimmer crab.

Doesn't really look like a blue crab, but they will get large (6" across). They use the paddle like rear legs to swim and will eventually try to grab a fish once big enough.

Do not release them unless everything in your tank was taken from wherever you're letting them go! Otherwise you risk spreading nonnative pathogens that the native fish wouldn't have any immunity to.
