Hi I have an outbreak of marine Ich in my 50 gal. I removed all of my corals, snails, and crabs and I treated my display tank with my fish in it figuring that was the best way to remove the parasites. How long should I keep the corals and invertebrates separated from my fish to ensure that I don't get them back in my display tank with my fish?

the consensus recommendation is about 6 weeks of no fish contact. By then the ich lifecycle will be concluded since they will have no host.

I treated with API super Ich cure. It was like all my fish got it overnight. So I needed something to act fast. 6 weeks okay that's what I wanted to know.

I'm planning on dipping the coral before I put them back.
