Picked up a Mantis shrimp a few days ago. She is very healthy, very active. FS said they fed her large snails. They gave me 6 with her. Since I brought her home, she has not eaten a thing. I tried the snails, frozen fish, frozen squid, live shrimp. Not sure what to try next. Any ideas? She is about 5-6" long. I have her in a 120 gallon tank.

Might be shocked from the move. They behave "strangely" for about the first month or so after you bring them home in my experience.

The only other explanation is that she might be approaching a molt. They usually won't eat anything for about a week or so leading up to a molt.

I wouldn't worry too much, mantis shrimp don't usually just stop eating and starve to death entirely. Best of luck to you!

Just throw a bunch of cuc in there. She'll sort it out when she gets hungry.

I restock my peacock tank about once a month with a dozen hermits and a dozen or so various snails.

Not sure if she is eating or just moving the shrimp pellets I'm feeding her. She looks to be nibbling on them, but then takes them out of her area and tosses them. She looks healthy and chases any fish that gets to close to her. Picture taken yesterday.
