Is there a significant difference between an rodi and the drinking water rodi unit?
Is the regular rodi unit safe to drink? Or is there an issue such as photo something?

Yup, there is a difference. You really want to avoid drinking de-ionization filtered water since drinking it over time isn't the best for you. This is why our drinking water systems either don't include DI resin, or they simply "T" off the drinking portion before the DI. You can purchase a non-drinking water RO/DI, and T off before the DI filter to collect drinking water as well.

Sure thing! There are a couple different ways to do it. The first would be to use a drinking water kit that adds a tank, faucet, and all the necessary fittings. Check that one out here:

The other would be to just use a T-valve like this one here:
