So the saying goes... You get what you pay for. But I'm still curious if anyone on here has used any of the Beamswork LED lights in their reef tanks. Successes? Failures? Will they grow LPS and/or SPS?

This (http://www.amazon.com/Beamswork-Aquarium-Light-Marine-Cichlid/dp/B019GDKPLU/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1464230457&sr=8-8&keywords=beamswork+led) is the light I'm interested in.

I bought this light to use over a fish only system. It is way too yellow for my liking. I would not trust it to light a reef of any type.

I tried one of the clip on lights as a refugium light.
The blue LEDs failed after one month.
Yes, you get what you pay for.

I'd recommend looking at Reefbreeders - I've had their Photon48 over my 120g for about two years now and love it. -Highly recommended-

1 watt leds, and it's 33 whites and only 6 blue... OK if you have a fish only tank. I wouldn't even try to grow zoas or softies under that.
