I had velvet appear in my tank and kill a few fish overnight.
Currently what I have done is to remove all the fish from my tank, leaving corals, snails and other inverts with the rock inside.
Surviving fish are in a qt tank, and include chloroquine intolerant fish.
I'm intending to fallow the tank for up to 3 months to get rid of the velvet parasite and just in case ich found its way in as well.
However, how do I treat the surviving fish in qt? Is copper up to 0.5ppm for 4 weeks the only way to ensure I can start my tank off clean again?
