Had to break down my 180 for a military move. Decided to keep my pair of clowns. I have had them for over 3 years. No fish, rock or coral were added to my tank the past year at least. Put the 2 clowns along with tank water in a 2 gallon and they drove across 6 states with me. No issues during transport. Both fish actively ate and showed no signs of any sickness.
It's been almost 2 weeks, and just the past few days my black clown has stopped eating and showing small white things on it. All water used was from my 180 or freshly made saltwater. As I said, nothing was added so I am unsure if they got whatever the fish got from my old tank water, though I guess anything is possible.
It does not seem like it is ich. they are not round white spots. Some look small worms or fuzzy sort of. She has been eating brine with garlic. Won't touch anything else. Breathing pretty rapidly. I have done a few water changes. I have no treated with any medicines.
If anyone can help with an ID and a possible course of action. Both fish are now in a 5 gallon nano for the time being. No inverts or anything else, one piece of rock from 180.
