My blood red fire shrimp recently attacked my orange striped prawn goby,he used to have a beautiful dorsal fin but that is now shredded. Are there any good reef safe products that I can use to treat his wounds?

You sure that's what happened?

Sounds more like fin Rot to me from an infection.

Try pimafix and melafix. They are reef safe and short of pulling him out to a seperate QT that's youR only option.

If it's from an injury really, it will grow back.

It is only his dorsal fins that are affected, I have also seen the shrimp chase the goby around, I thought he was just cleaning until I saw him use his claws to pinch the goby's fins. All I needed to hear was that it will grow back, thanks! Time to buy myself a fish trap.

Also a thing that gets mentioned very little is to keep them well fed. Helps fight off infections and keep them not as stressed. There are also foods with garlic etc that help boost immune systems.

I'd move the shrimp to the sump and hope the fin grows back---they usually will.
