Can you tell me if these zoas look okay?

Hi everyone,

I'm getting back into the hobby (though I was never able to successfully keep zoas ever) so I'm starting from the basics. Can you take a look at these zoas and tell me if you think they look healthy? They look very washed out compared to all the gorgeous pics I see on here.

For what it's worth, they were collected from Hawaiian waters and the lighting is a mix of 10,000K and 460nm blue. Thanks!

they look perfectly fine to me.
to get really colorful zoas the first thing you have to do is buy really colorful zoas. yours while very nice aren't the most eye-catching variety in terms of color.
also, fortunately for you pretty zoas don't have to cost you and arm and a leg. many of the most vivid ones are sold at a reasonable price.

they look fine to me , opened well , even colour.

Most of the crazy colorful zoas you see were grown out from single polyps or much smaller colonies - people pick the pretty ones and make more of them, basically.

Yours look fine, just not 'ultra'.
