Can I get a recommendation on one for a 65 gallon. I had a 2 little fishes one, but the pump isn't working right anymore and I could never get the flow right.

Need to get my hair algae under control

Thanks,

I like the avast brand, I use the MR10 but the MR5 unit will be plenty for your tank, they also sell DIY versions to save you money.

I am also in the market for a carbon & GFO reactor. The Avast MR5 have caught my interest. One question, how is changing the media with all those thump screws. Seems like a pain.
The Avast reactors appear to be well made. Any thoughts on the BRS models. The phospan by TLF seems a little flimsy.

The thumb screws arnt to bad, there are only 4 of them. At first i thought they were gonna be a pain but turned out not as bad as i thought.

I dont know how well the brs ones work so no comment on those.
