I'm about to preform a freshwater dip. In order to get the pH to match my tank I used a buffer. Now due to the buffer my water is super cloudy in the bucket I'm using to preform the dip. Is this normal? I'm using a powerhead to try to disperse the buffer around in the bucket but it's been 15+ min now and it's still extremely cloudy. Obviously I'm not going to do the dip until it's cleared up but I don't know if it's normal of it to get this cloudy?

The bucket is matched in the pH and the temp. I also have a small airstone to provide extra oxygen. Anything else I need??

What is it you are dipping? When I dipped my stony corals in temperature matched ro/di to rid them of flatworms I didn't test a thing. I used my finger as a thermometer in the dip bowl that had been floating in the tank for 10-15 minutes and dipped away. And fwiw - if you are using ro/di (as you should), a tiny bit of buffer will go a very long way.
