I am getting a Red Sea Reefer 450 which is 59" long.

Would a Photon 50 V2 be a good fit for this tank? Can anyone who has one of these lights chime in on them?

The other option I am considering is 3x Kessil A360WE which would be almost twice as much money. I would love to put that money elsewhere in this tank.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Hi,

The Photon 50-V2 fits a 60" long mixed reef tank well, so it should be well suited for your tank, and the tank mounting legs will fit over the rim.

Would two Photon 32 V2 be overkill for this tank?

On the website the pictures of the Photon 50 V2 appear to be the same as the Photon 48 V2, what exactly is the difference between the two?

Thanks for all the help!

I was wondering the same thing for my 60" tank, except I thought two 24" V2's would work well. I have a 4 inch center brace, and I didn't want it to block any light.
It looks like the 32's would be too wide.
