I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of using manual mode on the camera and after being a longtime admirer of many of the camera shots here, I decided to make my first picture post. Any comments from people far better than me on how to improve my photo taking skills is very much welcome. I do know for sure some of my photos need some better depth of focus, which I've been trying to improve over my more recent photos.

Great Pictures, what equipment are you using? and what settings do you generally find for Tank photography... I'm just starting to get into photography as well as Reefing?...any info as to help speed up the learning curve would be great!

Where did you get them from? Those can be super expensive, and they look like they are c maybe b grade.

I know that the ultra grade goes for like $5000/fish

I'm using a Nikon D3200, and I can't remember which lens I have on it off the top of my head, but I'm not using a real macro lens, but rather macro extension rings and they seem to be working out quite ok.

Settings wise is hard to say, since I'm always adjusting them but I've looked a lot through photography threads and did a bunch of reading, but taking a ton of photos at different settings was the only real way I ended up learning.

I got them from a local reefer that was getting out of the hobby, so they were quite a great deal. He originally bought them from Sea and Reef in Maine.
