recommend a fast growing coral that will cover the back glass of the tank. low to med light, med to high water flow and EASY to care for

GSP. There are some color variations and if you want to get fancy you could scape lines or polka dots with the difference colors. Briareum is pretty neat for those kind of things.

The only thing to keep in mind is that anything that will grow that easily will also try to take over the rest of the tank as well.

Be careful what you ask for!

Gsp, don't want huge waving Xenia. If you could get it to stay short a wall of pocilipora might be cool

thats A OK...because this tank will be a "weedy/forest/vacant lot" tank anyhow

Certain Montiporas can be done this way.. I just got a Jedi Mind Trick that I glued to the back glass. It doesn't look like much now, (dime size) but hopefully that back panel will become turquoise and red given time. ;)

Gsp would be your best bet for a fast growing coral.Just make sure it can't reach your live rock.

With so many horror stories regarding GSP, I don't know why you would want to dedicate a whole panel to this invasive coral. I hope it works out for you though. GL.

one persons "junk" is another persons prized processions..honestly i never seen any use for a sterile tank dotted with colored sticks but some think thats the ultimate tank

I love gsp. I grow it like grass on the bottom glass of my bare-bottom tank. It adds amazing color and movement.

pic of the beginnings of a weedy reef..the rock was dead dry rock..the mollies are slowing being converted to full marine(brackish at the moment shutting down the brackish tank as the mollies are all thats in the 20g brackish)

Curious, what species of Montipora do you reckon that to be friend?? Which google answer seems to fit?

Haha sw converted mollies and guppies are amazing. Haven't seen too many success stories, but I know it's possible.

My delta tank had an ich outbreak, and I cured it by converting it to brackish.

If I didn't have such aggressive clowns, I would convert a trio of them in a heartbeat. They look insane under t5s.
