Can the safety connector be used with VorTech Mp 40's. Is there a way to used it.

You don't need the safety cable for the mp pumps as the smarts (relay)are built into the ecotech controller Tunze pumps don't that is why u need safety cable.

I can't comment on this as I haven't used an Ecotech pump. I know the plug sizes are the same.

You just need a 2.5mm plug to 1.3mm socket DC adaptor jack. Works perfectly.

That's an expensive way to do it as the vortech controller has the relay built in u only need the ecotech cable which is cheap cut it in half to do 2 pumps then any 12v battery and charger the safety conectors are for Tunze pumps that don't have a relay

Agreed. But I also have Tunze equipment and this allows flexibility in a power outage. The 4A fuse is also a bonus.
