Adult size, up to a foot; grows fast; lives for 20 years; needs long tank, 8 foot is good. Skin is poisonous. Tail spike can inflict injury on other fish and humans.
Marine fish do NOT limit their growth to fit their tank, and a marine tank requires equipment, chemistry protocols, and a steep learning curve.
Nemo is fine in a 30 gallon. His friends are not.

If you are here to do it right and learn the hobby, you are extremely welcome and we will be happy to advise you: we are all hobbyists here, and we're all about healthy tanks and enjoyment of same. There are many, many beautiful fish in the sea and some are easier to keep than others.

A funny note: BigEZ77 reports he has a yellowtail friends and family think is 'Dory.' [it's a brilliant blue fish with a yellow tail]. And the nice thing about that---is that a yellowtail damsel is sized quite perfectly to be 'Nemo's' lifelong companion, plus being reef-safe, hardy as all getout, and compatible, besides being one of the more timid, small-environment kinds of damsels that is least likely to bother anything. If you have young children, you may be able to make everybody happy with a perc and a yellowtail in a small kid-friendly tank such as an all-in-one 29 gallon.
