I love the blue color of saltwater tanks. If money wasn't an issue, what would you put over a 40 gallon breeder?? I have had one in the past with the reef breeders photon but would like a different option. Any ideas?

I have an Ocean Revive Arctic T247 and absolutely love it. Still trying to get it dialed in better but it's an amazing light fixture especially for the money. Much much better than the Chinese black boxes and one will give you decent coverage over a 40b which is what I've got and couldn't be happier. I have it mounted 13" over the tank and it gives good coverage on the 36" length

6 bulb Sunpower for sure. 8 bulb if you like, but imo 6 is great for a 40b and it's what I have over my daughters tank.

Which ReefBreeder fixture did you have and what was it that makes you want something different? What are you looking for in a new fixture? Basic 2 channel leds with dimmers, built-in timers and digital dimmers, sunrise/sunset control, more than 2 channel control? What is your budget?

I have used a wide variety of led fixtures from high end (over priced) EcoTech Radions to old, poorly made, super cheap (as in cheap components) Chinese fixtures. I have 4 tanks and 2 refugiums currently and use 3 EverGrow fixtures over my 180g & 75g DT's, an OceanRevive over a frag tank, a ReefRadiance (never again-crappy customer support) over a 65g shallow reef and basic ReefBreeder fixtures over the refugiums. They all work very well (except the ReefRadiance which has controller issues that they are well aware of but are unwilling to even offer a new controller board for me to install).

Love the Kessils...color and shimmer effect. One A360WE or two A160WE's would be a good choice for your tank...along with the Spectral Controller.
