I am wanting to get one larger fish for my 4 ft 120. It currently has all small peaceful fish. The largest fish are my flasher/fairies. I want something that is not cryptic, bold colored, somewhat active but not too hyper and not so aggressive as to upset my peaceful community.

I have considered/ am considering:

Dwarf angel- seems too great a risk to corals, though by far my favorite group
one spot foxface--seems a good choice
Zebrasomas tang- yellow maybe?Too aggressive? black--too expensive for the looks I had a purple in this tank for many years and felt it was too small of a tank for him.

Bristle tooth tang- probably a good choice but I am not crazy about their looks

CBB ?
yellow longnose?
Pyramid--probably needs more room?

other suggestions I may be missing?

Thanks for the feedback and advice in picking this fish!

Depending on your rock work and how open it is, a yellow or purple may be fine. THAT BEING SAID, since you have a peaceful community, it may be completely hit or miss so I would avoid both if peace is a priority of yours. A copper band butterfly or long nose would be great if you can get one that eats. A Pyramid butterfly could be a little cramped but may be fine, can't inform you on it though because I have never kept one...

Other considerations perhaps could include...

Pseudanthias sp. (Depending on species, anywhere from 1-6. Needs to be fed often)
Genicanthus sp. (Only large angels that are considered fully reef safe by many)
Opistognathus sp. (Needs Deep Sand Bed and/or PVC "Home")
Synchiropus sp. (Established tank, your size should be fine)

HTH, happy reefing :)
