Hi guys! I have had my 60g reef tank for about a year now, and I am at the end of fish stocking. Currently I have 2 firefish gobkes, a sand sifter goby, an African cleaner wrasse, a cleaner shrimp, and some corals.
For my last fish I would like a decent size fish unlike the smaller ones (3-5in). I am thinking along the lines of dwarf angelfish or a tang. Thanks for any recommendations!

I was under the impression dwarf angels aren't necessarily reef safe because they nip coral?

Dwarf angels can be hit or miss with corals. Multiple feedings are best. Flames and coral beauties are among the safest, but still a risk.

Skip a tang in a 60g. It's just not enough space long-term.

How about the cherub angel? Is it a known coral eater? Also what do angels prefer; soft sps or lps? Thx

A few zoa
Green star polyp
A very large devil's hand coral
And some mushrooms

Mine nips at SPS mostly, which results in 0 PE unfortunately. But it leaves Zoas and most LPS alone.

OK... So if tangs need a bigger tank and dwarf angels may eat my corals, are there any other good fish that would work?

Assuming your tank is covered and you have a sand bed, how about a Melanurus Wrasse? They get fairly good size, are great at keeping pests off corals, and look great IMO.

Will it fight with my cleaner wrasse?

I would not think so, but I would let someone else chime in as I have never kept a Cleaner Wrasse.

It is unlikely to cause issue with the cleaner wrasse if the cleaner is established.

OK thanks! I'll look into it. And yes, my cleaner wrasse is established
