Is it a little frog spawn head?

The matting looking like GSP (green star polyps) but not seeing the nubs where they would come out

I'm assuming your talking about that little nub on the right? If so, how does it feel to the touch? Is it soft, hard, slimy, abrasive etc? I want to say a Kenya Tree coral, but I'm not sure if that's correct or not.

I know very little about what I am asking... The purple part was given to me and the little nub that is coming out of it (or on it - or attached to it) feels soft and a bit slimy. It retracted a bit when I touched it.

I agree GSP or some type of star polyps.

Ok. Getting a better look, possibly coraline covered rock with a Kenya tree on the right.
