Longnose is nipping on Acan

My Longnose Butterfly started nipping on an Acan. I moved the Acan to another location, but he still nipping on it. The coral has been closed for over a week now.

Is there anything I can do?

I love the fish and I hate to have to let it go. I believe it is the most intelligent and curious fish in my tank. It is about 5" and I have it in my DT for about 4 months.

my copperband effectively killed all of my acans with constant harassment.

nothing really seemed to help deter him.

some will and some wont. I have had both experiences with butterflies. Afraid you need to decide what you like more, him or the acans. in my last go with them I picked the acans and removed him.

I don't mind losing an Acan to keep him. My fear is he will turn into the SPS, then I am gonna have to find him a new home.

I think your ok there. don't think they are known to touch sps. I have never heard of that at least.
