+1. You can remove them if you don't like, but they won't hurt anything.

I leave them in. That's what the CUC is for.

Some of my LPS will eat molts if they touch lol.

Should be mostly chitin, a sugar. It will decompose eventually, but I can't see it causing any problems.

I've read that it's good to leave in. They'll occasionally eat it to help with their next shed. Never witnessed this myself. Besides it looking ugly in the DT... I've never seen any harm in letting it break down naturally in the system.

I've always left them in and they were either eaten or dissolved by the next day.
