Would this....

be OK to control up to 5 1000mA Mean Well drivers?

I'm having trouble deciphering if there is a limit or spec that I need to pay attention to on the driver board as it relates to the LED driver or wattage of the LEDs. Or am I throwing out any power limitations of the driver board because of the use of external drivers?

I can't remember the drive current limits of the pca9685 chip off hand, but I know it'll be fine driving PWM signals into literally dozens of LDD-H per channel. 5 LDD-H is no sweat. You'll be fine.

You'll be fine driving 5 LDDs, even 5 per PWM channel.
