Difference bet Radion G2 and G3

Im looking to change my lights to LED and really like to go with Radions.
There is an opportunity to buy the G2s at a really good price.
I was looking a getting the G3 pros but they are a lot more money.

Will the G2 suffice? What is the difference? I have an SPS tank.

The G3 added UV bulbs I believe, and are generally considered a big step up from the G2 as a result. You almost never see anyone showcasing tanks with G1 or G2 Radions.

The good news is if you can get the G2 at a cheap price, it can be upgraded to G3.

The price to upgrade each light is 150 for 2 to 3 and 250 for 2 to 3 Pro. So if the price is REALLY good, maybe do it. I dont see the advantage of the Gen 2 over what you have now.
