Mp40w (wwd) upgrade to qd

Can someone tell me what the difference between the wwd upgrade and the wes upgrade is besides the $45 price difference? I'm considering doing the upgrade but $120 vs $75 and not sure why.

The WWD controller did not have a wireless chip in it that is compatable with the QD driver. The ES controller did. So when upgrading a Gen 2 you need to purchase the wireless RF chip as well as the controller. When upgrading an ES you move the RF chip from the ES controller into the new QD controller.

The RF chip costs $45.
