I am the recipient of a lackadaisical reefer's live rock which is in good shape from what I can tell. However the button mushrooms on the rock are white and once were red. He dumped 5 tablespoons of some calcium increasing substance without reading instructions. It was a 60 gallon tank and the proper dosage was 1 tablespoon for 30 gallons. Many of the corals are flat out dead. An SPS looks like it might be alive. Not sure what kind it is. I have no idea how long they were in this environment. I have put them all near the top and have turned down my lights. Anything else I can do to save them?

Get the calcium down too 500ppm over the next few days and pray. Eventually you want it in the 420 range.
