Bean animal in a center overflow

Hey guys.


Juat a quick question.


Should the closed siphon be lower than the open Channel while in the center overflow?


I'm having issues with the open Channel pulling too much water when the water level gets higher due to the full siphon gate valve being slightly closed.


Should the full siphon be lower?

Would that help my issue?
