Coral qt

I have a 2 bulb 24" t5 fixture I have used on many things over the years. Recently a qt light. I want to know if I place two ati 24w bulbs and keep it on the 20g long if corals will be okay. I will build tall egg crate shelf. I am mainly concerned if I buy my first sps, an easier one.

I am really thinking about more coral after a year and a half of learning on my dt tank but I want to give them a good quarantine period. The last coral I tried to quarantine didn't make it. I wasn't using this light on that coral because it was occupied. The coral was a surprise freeby and I was not ready.

If my idea won't work then I will not buy any corals rn.

I am not quite sure if that would be ok for SPS. I believe it will be fine for some softies and LPS. I have a 30" 4 bulb fixture on my 20 long. I also have an eggcrate that is about halfway up the tank and the couple of SPS I got is doing fine and actually going a little.
