Is this normal and is this too much? This is off my return. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160827/df273a3fd947d297b0ef2a9e33ac48ad.jpg

I'm going to say that is way too much and you most likely have a leak.

Mine has been running for 3 1/2 years in it's present form. There is Zero salt creep. Although it may be slow, there is definitely a leak.

I would find the leak and fix.

+1 salt creep comes from water - either mist/spray from splashing, or from a leak. From the pics that doesn't appear to be a location that should have spray at all, so you would appear to have a leak

So have loc-lines been known to leak? How do I fix it or do I just buy a new one?

+1 on leak. You can likely get another one fairly inexpensively.

I would re-plump it with something beside loc-line on the outside of the tank.

Yes, loc lines are very well known to leak and have salt creep. They should only be used inside or over the water of the aquarium not outside. They are not a solid pipe and will leak.

I didn't even notice it was loc line and looking at it now it's pretty obvious. Yes, replace it.
