Not quite sure what this is... I have a pretty nice size Zoa colony I picked up at my LFS. I noticed that in the early morning hours just before lights go on there are two large red tubes coming out of the colony. Thought it could be a sponge but it retracts. Possibly a clam of some sort, but the colony doesn't move. Just the two siphon tubes come up and down depending on the time of day, and always during coral feeding Sunday's. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160827/9dfd0a6114eba956dee35036a032291d.jpg doesn't seem to bother the Zoa's and its cool having a lot of life in the tank. Just would love to know what it is. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160827/20939d9932f8fee8883cb1a7a9a45f71.jpg

Not vermetid Snails, I've had those before, much smaller tube. These tubes are about 1/4 inch OD. and retract back. No spiderweb castings either. Just sucks in water during feeding. I looked at multiple barnacle images, no feather duster that comes out.

Here are some better images without the blue lights lit. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160903/8215041b0b676dc2054f1e0b986b5408.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160903/782339a7c13a6674a5d82b26f010f84e.jpg
