I nuked a tank and am getting ready to use it again after a thorough cleaning. I finished the plumbing and now am running a final leak test. I put 1/2 a gallon of regular (unscented) bleach in the 150 gallons of system volume just as a final cleanout for the tank. Tank is fully up and running with the sump. I plan on draining the tank tomorrow and filling again with new water. The aquarium smells like pool - lol!

There is no issue with doing this is there? I figure what I don't get from draining will dissipate out of the tank on its own well before any inhabitants are in there.

If the smell is gone you will be fine. I'd be tempted to put some dechlor in it anyway.

Give it a shot of Prime. It's good to have on hand just in case of a Clorox splash on your clothes or nasty smell on your hands, anyway.

+1, adding Prime or Amquel would be a very good idea.
