T5 Upgrade

Im planning to buy a used T5HO unit and mod it with either led strips or possibly led units. My question is, are the reflectors universal? Could I upgrade like say an Aquaticlife or Tek T5 unit with ATI reflectors and components? Ideally I would want a 6 bulb unit and remove the two middle bulbs and add LEDs. Please advise....

The ballast can probably be changed out to whatever. The reflectors is another story as it depends on how they are mounted. No such thing as a universal reflector on a commercial light.
