What is the best Bio-Pellet Reactor For a 100g reef tank

It depends on the features you are looking for, but Skimz or Reef Octopus would probably be my go to for a tank that size. The last time I ran pellets I used a Reef Octopus and it performed well. The Skimz reactors come with an adjustable DC pump however.

I've heard many Bio-Pellet Reactors clog fast and then your forced to disassemble them every few days. Is this necessary for those two you mentioned

That can depend on bacterial load, but I hadn't ever personally ran into that issue.

Find a recirculating one. Reef dynamics if you can find one

That's why I said if you can find one. They pop up for sale, just keep your eyes open

Pm McPuff.. He recently had a RD pellet reactor. I am not sure whether it sold or not.. I will share the link to this thread and possibly he can respond.. But I have run my rd reactor for a good 3 to 4 years, and they are utterly amazing if your going to run pellets..
