Aquamax CO -1 skimmer

I am considering replacing my Icecap K2-50 skimmer on my Red Sea reefer nano (28 gal) with the Aquamax CO-1 (it's on sale). I am wondering if the skimmer will be too big for the tank, I plan to have a large bioload. Any thoughts, recommendation, or experience with this skimmer?

Terrific Skimmers. Well made and are workhorses. I always shoot for more skimmer than I need. No harm done with larger than necessary skimmer on any tank. You can adjust it as you need it so lots of flexibility based on your load. Grab that sale.

I'm curious why you want to get rid of the K2? Is it that you just want a bigger skimmer or that you don't like the K2 skimmer?

I'm debating between the K2 160 and the aquamaxx co-2 for around 90-95 gallons of water
